The Kindergarten students have been taking the last few class periods to use KidPix to create a variety of printed activities related to their classroom curriculum.
They first worked on creating a winter scene picture, which included a sentence/statement related to the picture. Students created winter scene pictures in relationship to sledding, snow falling, building a snow man, building a snow fort, and even building a snow dog.
Students also created an activity related to the 100th day of school where they stamped 10 groups of stamps with 10 stamps in each group to equal 100 total stamps.
The students have also been exploring a new version of KidPix called KidPix Deluxe 3D where the backgrounds and animations are in 3D and movies are a part of the students KidPix experience. To push it to the limits the students can save their finished projects with the 3D backgrounds and animations as a 3D movie where 3D glasses are needed to view the movie. Pretty cool and hopefully something some class at Eason will try this school year.
