Kindergarten Integration

The Kindergarten grade students have been doing a variety of activities in the computer lab in relationship to Patterns and Reading/Writing/Daily 5 activities on the Internet. The specifically used KidPix to create 2-3 different Stamp Patterns from their knowledge of Patterns in their classroom. They then printed these off to be included in their portfolio or to take home.

I talk to the Kindergarten students about being able to do these activities anywhere they can get to the Internet, such as at home, at the library, at a friend's house, etc. They are reminded that they might need to ask an adult to help get them to the Eason Elementary web site, but from there, the students should be able to navigate to the web sites they have explored in the computer lab.
